Marriott International logo handles ready-made treats

Mumbai, India –Marriott International Announced that an agreement has been signed with on-site hotels to open seven hotels as part of a portfolio deal that includes 1,548 keys to five brands. This includes the debut of several brands in the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Sri Lanka, Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Varanasi, Marriott (Gujarat) in Mundra and Moxy in Pune. Additionally, it will mark the third JW Marriott Hotel and the second Moxy as part of the dual branded property in Mumbai. All seven properties are expected to open in 2030.

The multi-deal agreement was signed by Rajeev Menon, president, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International and Atul Chordia, chairman and executive director, Ventive Hospitality Ltd. Ranju Alex, regional vice president, South Asia, Marriott International, Ranjit Batra, chief executive officer, Ventive Hospitality Ltd, Kiran Andicot, senior vice president, hotel Development, Mr. Milind Wadekar, Executive Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations at Marriott International Field Hotels Ltd., was also present.

Pottuvil, Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Liz Carlton Reserve Pottuvil introduces the brand to Sri Lanka's eastern coast. Located between the Indian Ocean and the lagoon, the hotel is surrounded by mangroves and wildlife. The reserve is expected to offer 73 villas, each of which will have a separate living area, private sun deck and infinity pool. The property will also include a range of dining options including two specialty restaurants, as well as designed leisure and discovery spaces: the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Fitness Center, Ocean & Wildlife Center, Water Sports Club and Ritz Children's Entertainment Center. Featured gaming drives and custom cultural immersion will also be available. Pottuvil can be reached by a six-hour drive from Colombo or seaplane or concession flight.

JW Marriott Mumbai

JW Marriott Mumbai is located in the satellite city of Mumbai and will provide a luxurious experience. The hotel's plan includes 450 rooms, as well as multiple wellness spaces including JW Gardens and 5 cooking experiences. In addition, the property is expected to offer 2000 m2 of flexible activity space, outdoor pool, JW's spa and fitness center. The hotel will be located near DB Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Varanasi Marriott Hotel

The Varanasi Marriott is expected to include 161 rooms and three dining options. The property also plans to offer the brand’s iconic M Club Lounge, an exclusive area reserved for elites and club members. The plan also includes a fitness center, a Quan Spa, an outdoor pool, and multi-functional event and meeting space. The hotel will be a six-minute drive from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport.

Courtyard in Mundra

It is expected to contain 200 keys, and the courtyard of Marriott Mundra is located near the Mundra port in Kutch district of Gujarat, India. The hotel will provide well-equipped facilities and smart workspaces. The hotel's plans include an all-day dining restaurant with on-site radio, a cafe and bar, an outdoor pool, fitness center, spa and banqueting capabilities for meetings and events.

Moxy Navi Mumbai

The 200-key Moxy Navi Mumbai program is part of a dual-brand property with JW Marriott Mumbai and will feature flexible rooms. The hotel will include Moxy Bar and Moxy Kitchen & Pickups, offering all-day food and beverages as well as clever meals. The property's plans also include two meeting rooms and a fitness center.

Moxy Pune Kharadi

The hotel is It is expected to include 200 rooms, social space, bar Moxy and another restaurant and bar. The property's design plans are located near Pune International Airport and include a gym and 350 m2 functional space, including two meeting rooms filled with natural sunlight and equipped with smart facilities.

Moxy Pune Wakad

The hotel is about an hour from the airport and plans to include 264 keys, which is part of a comprehensive development. The property will also include Bar Moxy. The plan also covers two meeting rooms and a fitness center.
