“Thinking about the history of the California BBQ factory and the famous chefs in front of me, it’s incredible to see how the menu develops while being true to its roots,” said chef Matthew Birch. “Each generation of chefs brings his own creativity while continuing to focus on showing the ingredients of the peak season with integrity and care.”
Over the course of thirty years, the California Grill has laid the foundation for the Disney Food and Beverage Revolution and paved the way for a new generation of signature restaurants at Disney Parks and Resorts. Despite the changing menu, the California BBQ continues to push the borders with a dynamic three-course menu. At the heart of the experience remains a fusion of bold flavors, innovative technologies and meaningful guest interactions.
“The way we create a memorable experience is more than just food,” Birch added. “It’s about connecting with families who have dinner with us and celebrate each dish in a way that invites guests to participate in the story.”
In addition to the food that is worth noting, the vibrant atmosphere also boasts panoramic rooftop views and provides guests with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of nighttime night at Magic Kingdom Park, “Happy is.”
From iconic dishes to memorable views, California Grill invites guests to celebrate 30 years of signature restaurants. This is the next 30 years of magic on the 15th floor.
California BBQ is one of hundreds of dining locations available at Walt Disney World Resort, from themes of Disney characters and stories to recipients of newly awarded Michelin stars Victoria and Albert Greater Florida resort in Disney.
