Hiking route description
The Blackhead Mountain Horseshoe Hike is one of the best days that experienced hikers can plan in the Catskills.
This is a very special route, with some of the best trails in the entire Catskill Parks, and some of the most unforgettable views. The Level 3 Sprint has some technical sections, with the North Head Down slope being the trickiest.
The route begins at Barnum Road and ends at Peck Road, first conquering the largest and most difficult mountain range. Regardless, your legs will definitely feel the day as you descend Wyndham Peak.
Technically, this hike is not as challenging as the last one. Oriental magic But it’s a long day and you need plenty of food, water, and electrolyte Have a pleasant experience.
