Trying to decide to live in Kauai with your kids? Our Vacasa review will help you decide where to live in Hawaii. We stayed for 6 nights in a gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury apartment in Princeville, Hawaii. Called Pali Ke Kua 124, this Vacasa Rental rental is the best place to stay in Kauai, with great value, spectacular ocean and views of Na Pali Coast, spacious luxury accommodation and thoughtful extra amenities to make you feel like you are at home. You can even book with points and we'll share how to do it in this Vacasa review.
Booking an entire family vacation is a great way to save money. You can eat and save a lot of dining, especially when dining out in places like Hawaii is very expensive. We especially like owning the entire home when traveling with our family so we can have plenty of space, comfort and privacy in our separate bedroom.
Book vacasa with point
If you want to book a fee, it is very easy to book Vacasa online via the Vacasa website. You just need to select a rental property online, submit your reservation and receive an email confirmation. You can book Vacasa Homes at 15,000 Wyndham points per bedroom per night. The two-bedroom unit we live in requires 30,000 Wyndham points per night, which is a great choice for a luxury home with 5 people with stunning views. Our location in Vacasa, Princeville, Hawaii
Pali ke kua 124 is located in Princeville, Hawaii, on the lush North Shore of Kauai. Pali Ke Kua is a resort apartment complex located on a 200-foot cliff above the ocean, with stunning views of the ocean and mountains.

It is right next to Princeville Golf Course and there is a paved walking trail for a walk. There is also a path to the secluded beach, Pali Ke Kua Beach, which is available to the resort's guests. This is the most luxurious area on Kauai. It happens to be where all billionaires live on the island, so you know it's great. Pali Ke Kua has a swimming pool and hot tub and we had to ourselves when we visited.

Enter our vacation rentals
Vacasa made it easy for us to enter the holiday homes in Kauai. We received an email about 24 hours ago with instructions on how to use digital locking. We received text with a unique code once the device is ready to check in. When we arrived we had a hard time getting the digital lock to work, but we texted the vacasa and got instructions immediately on how to access the lock box using the physical key.
We received a text message asking how our check-in was going on when we arrived and whether we needed anything. We also received a message asking about the cleanliness of the house, which is spotless. Cleaning is very important to us, especially in this pandemic era. We appreciated the extra attention to this matter and the inquiries Vacasa had satisfied with us at the beginning of the stay. Local Vacasa staff can help with any issues.
We received local Hawaiian products as well as a welcome gift from Kukui Nut Leis, a symbol of enlightenment, protection, guidance and peace in Hawaiian culture. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and provided a huge souvenir for the souvenirs of our trip.
Views of Vasa, Hawaii
Once inside the apartment we were immediately in awe and saw the coveted views of the Napali Coast and the Pacific Ocean. The unit offers complete views in the living room with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows. The sunset views were absolutely incredible, so we made sure to return to the sunset on the terrace almost every night of the trip. We even invited new friends we made during our boat cruise last night on Kauai, the most spectacular sunset we've ever seen throughout the week!
Lanai in the living room has a table and chairs where we enjoy breakfast every morning. There is a barbecue grill and a toss game on Lanai. The office area also has a smaller Lanai with 2 Adirondack chairs to hang out and enjoy the picturesque views.

Modern decoration and new decoration
We have been living in Hawaiian apartments that are outdated and urgently need renewal, but the unit has been newly renovated and features modern and luxurious amenities. It features a brand new kitchen with white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and new cabinets. It is full of everything you might need, including a Tiki Bar Cart and stainless steel cups to keep your drinks on the beach.

The bathroom features white marble countertops, spa-like fixtures and rain shower. It also has a washer and dryer, which is especially convenient for beach vacations in Hawaii.

We love contemporary, bright, beach decor, which is so elegantly decorated that we suspect interior designers are involved. Additional touches such as dirt candles throughout the home, cilantro candles outside the patio, colorful blankets and fun books make us feel comfortable and at home.

watch This video and this Full tour for this gorgeous two bedroom 2 bathroom unit. It can sleep 5 people, there is a single bed for one day in the office area, a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. The device has a smart TV in every bedroom, high-speed internet, Sonos sound system and workbench.

Beach equipment borrowing
We were impressed by all the beach gear left by the owner when everyone stayed at home. We found 3 large boogie boards, 4 seat beach chairs, a beach wagon, several beach cool bags and a solid beach umbrella with side flaps fixed to the beach and providing extra sun protection.
The main entrance cabinets include about a dozen beach towels, snorkeling masks and flakes, sand toys, water shoes of all sizes, sunscreen, and a variety of sports equipment and balls. We never stayed in a spacious beach equipment for guests to rent. Next time we stay here we can pack the lighter and leave the snorkeling gear at home.
