Entering this experience, I admit that my expectations are relatively high. I'm a little worried that this experience won't live up to all the hype. As I waited to board the ship at their brand new Miami Port Terminal with plush seating and a double sunshine lounge, I knew this cruise would be different from any other cruise I had done…and in a great way.

We just want to say that I only spent a few hours on the boat before I had decided I would plan a voyage after this.

You won't find a traditional main restaurant on board, which means you can dine in different specialty restaurants every night without paying.

Guests can enjoy cuisine in a chic restaurant setting, including Mexican, Italian and Korean barbecue. There is also a steakhouse and a unique restaurant with a 5-course tasting menu with wine pairings.

Apart from specialty drinks and some dinner receptions (like their Tomahawk Steak), all your non-alcohound drinks and meals are included in your cruise fare.

While most cruise companies offer beverage packaging that requires everyone in the same cabin to buy a package, Virgin Voyages can customize their own bar labels and use that money to buy drinks for themselves or other guests.

If you pay $300 or more of a bar label upfront, the cruise line will usually sell an additional $50.

All your remuneration is paid in advance and crew members are not allowed to solicit guests for additional tips even before you get on board.
