1. Castle rock
This hotel is located near the castle and is simply gorgeous. And my favorite hotel in the city. This is an ancient and beautiful house, with cute wooden indoor decoration, stone stairs, and very historic royal feelings, just like you live in the ancestral family mansion. There is a huge kitchen with a table, TV, newspapers and free Wi-Fi in public areas. When will the weather enjoy and the cold of the fireplace and the film room, there is also a terrace. 4. Royal Miri Backpacker
This leisurely hotel is your classic backpack passenger joint, with cold public areas, a small library, regular social activities (such as bar crawling or Scotland dance class) and free coffee and tea. If you want to make a day trip, there is a tourist table, and you only need £ 3 pounds of breakfast every morning. One of the good benefits I am grateful for me is that this place provides free travel adapters during your accommodation (as a person who forgets them more than once, I think this is a good idea!).
Although I don't like the bed, it is a simple wooden double -layer, they do have separate reading lights, sockets and lockers (but no curtains). The bathroom is a bit narrow, but the water pressure of the shower is very good, and everything is kept clean (this is the most important). Overall, this is another comfortable and warm place that makes you feel at your friends' home.

5. Picking the Grass Market
This is the cool and Arty hotel in the center of the old city center (Castle). It is exquisitely decorated and feels very enthusiastic. Although I especially like the bar area, there are many common spaces to hang out, because it is super social and it is easy to meet people here. There is also a beer garden, when the weather is fine (when it is not suitable for Netflix) and a kitchen, if you want to cook yourself.
The standard dormitories here are bright and ventilated, with comfortable mattresses, separate lights, sockets and lockers. Some dormitories have bathrooms connecting the bathroom, and there are only women's dormitory. But for me, the highlight is the pod -style bed in the “superior” dormitory; they have thick curtains and provide a lot of privacy, making it easy to sleep well. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to stay here.

The central hotel is located in a series of historical buildings near the old city and railway station. It is warm and quiet, with some appearance without trouble, with outdated decoration and old wooden floor. This is not a social venue, but everything is clean and comfortable, and it feels very life (like many hotels today, compared with excessive sterile). The only disadvantage is that because the hotel is located in historical buildings, there is no elevator.
The room here is a bit simple and small, but the bed is very comfortable and has a decent mattress. There are no curtains in the bed, but your stuff has a locker, and the bathroom is always clean. There is a kitchen and various rooms to choose from, including a single private room, only female dormitories, and even a comfortable top apartment suite. Overall, this is a cheap and quiet place that can live in a superior position.

This boutique is located in the former court and prison (it is in the old city, so you can walk around). Some old cells have been converted into small private rooms, for truly unique accommodation. As for the dormitory, the mattress of the pod bed is very good, a single light, shelf and socket, so you can charge the gear (they also provide curtains, earplugs and eye masks, so you can sleep well). The hotel also has a female dormitory.
