Disney declares Mickey Mouse Sticks “the happiest snack on Earth” and promotes its status as the ideal snack on T-shirts and other park merchandise, including Christmas ornaments and necklaces. On homemade goods sites like Etsy, thousands of fans pay homage to the Mickey stick shape.

Prior to 2019, you could only buy Mickey Mouse Sticks at Disneyland. Since then, you can find boxes of six so-called Mickey Sticks in the freezer section of supermarkets and big-box stores like Target, usually priced between $8 and $9 a box. But please note, these are not the same Mickey Sticks sold in the parks. They're smaller, and the small print on the box says, “Bars made with light ice cream.” So you might think they'd work in a pinch (or you might even prefer them!) But the recipe is different, and not the same as The treats you find in the parks aren't quite the same. (Of course, there are fewer calories too!)
Mickey's Bar in the park currently costs just over $6. This would make them a break-even or better value if you use Disney Dining Plan snack points. For those who don't like chocolate bars, you'll often find them sold alongside Mickey-shaped ice cream sandwiches.
