The International Amateur Radio Association (UIAA) has released its latest issue of its global membership newsletter.
This newsletter is produced jointly by the continental representatives of the UIAA Governing Board and provides the latest news from the 94 UIAA member organizations in 72 countries on six continents. Please note that some of the linked articles are in the original language, but in most cases Google provides a translation of the page.
Highlights for the quarter include: Mountain Conservation Initiative in Canada, Germany, Nepal, and the United Kingdom; Cooperation plans between alliances in South America and Europe; Rock Climbing Articles from Hungary and the United States; Support for female climbers in Peru and Norway; Articles about Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Everest and special reports on excursions into the mountains of Slovenia.
