Manaslu Expedition Introduction
Manaslu is the eighth highest peak in the world. With challenging and technical slopes and a towering ridge, Manaslu is known as the “Killer Mountain”. Manaslu is a well-crafted and mesmerizing mountain in the Himalayas. It is located in the Gorkha region of Nepal. Manaslu Expedition The best season is from late September to November. The weather in autumn is pleasant and perfect for starting a Manaslu trip. The Manaslu region is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. In addition, Manaslu has become a place of increasing fascination for adventurers and nature lovers.
Satori Manaslu Expedition – Fall 2024
The extreme popularity of Manaslu makes it a destination for explorers. Therefore, like last year, on September 3, 2024, our expedition climbers and team will head to the summit of Manaslu. Leader Dan-Ionel Robescu from Romania will lead our expedition.
The Satori Manaslu expedition lasted a total of 75 days. Our team included 11 international climbers from Romania, Vietnam, the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Canada and Poland, as well as The Adventures of Enlightenment. Therefore, our team is ready to face the difficulties and succeed in the Manaslu expedition in autumn 2024.
On the other hand, after getting the official permission from the Ministry of Tourism, the journey to the summit begins. We will start our expedition from Kathmandu and then go to Arugat by road. From Arugat, the trekking route will take us to the Manaslu Base Camp via Sotikhola, Machhakhola, Jagat, Dang, Namrung, Lho and Samagaun. The Base Camp is where we prepare to conquer the peaks of the expedition, which are Base Camp (4800m/15,750ft), Camp 1 (5700m/18,700ft), Camp 2 (6400m/21,000ft), Camp 3 (6800m/22,310ft), Camp 4 (7500m/24,606ft) and finally the summit (8156m/26,759ft). The Satori team set up five camps on the Northeast Col route for a pleasant and successful expedition.
