We've had the pleasure of hosting a few “glamping events” at the campground over the years, but this fall is a little different for us. With two kids under three and Thanksgiving arriving late this year, our outdoor cooking season is essentially over. We cheer for everyone who does something real camping activitiesbut we will have a very traditional in-house Thanksgiving at home.

That said, we still bring a lot of Camp cooking tips mixed together because Camping gear is surprisingly useful when you want a hearty holiday meal at home!

This is the camping gear we will be using:

Yinglu: Extra burners for Thanksgiving are priceless! Using a camping stove can take some of the stress out of your kitchen and allow you to take some of the cooking work off the stove. Even a simple single burner A stove can help relieve some of the crunch.

cooler: The good news about insulated coolers is that they save stuff hot It's like they keep things cold! Fill up with ice at one of the self-serve beverage stations outside the kitchen. If you have a second cooler, place a kettle filled with hot water into it to turn it into a heater. It absorbs heat and keeps side dishes hot without tying up the oven.

thermos flask: Warm apple cider, mulled wine, hot cocoa… pour into a thermos cup thermos or growler And the temperature stays there for hours. A simple, unique hot beverage setup you can prepare hours before your party starts!
