This week we're taking the train from Seattle to Vancouver, BC for a quick trip before Valentine's Day.
So far on our to-do list is visiting vancouver art gallery Visit several special exhibitions, including the site-specific vinyl tape installation pictured above by Glasgow-based artist, DJ and musician Jim Lambie.
The weather forecast predicted rain. So we will also visit Bloedel Conservatoirehoused in a climate-controlled dome, is home to tropical birds, koi fish and more than 500 species of exotic plants and flowers.

Maui, Hawaii

Hawaii is always beckoning.
We recently visited the Big Island and now decided to visit Maui during the food festival.
this Lahaina Food and Wine Festival Coming up is February 18-22, 2026, five days of dinners, wine tastings, and community-focused events. June 25-28, Kapalua Wine and Food Festivalwhich is celebrating its 45th anniversaryth Anniversary this year.
Denim Fashion in Indianapolis

We have many things we love Indianapolisincluding artistic ones IND Airportnot just for kids Children's Museum of Indianapolisthis Bottle Factory Hotel Located as part of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottling plant and many other attractions.
We are happy to plan a return visit sometime after March 28th, when Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art Open a post about “Denim fashion” and the work of Indianapolis-based designer Jerry Lee Atwood, who has created embroidered suits for Lil Nas X, Post Malone and more.
The exhibition, which runs until August 2, 2026, combines Atwood’s work with 20th century Western costume designers such as Nudie Cohn and Nathan Turk, who created elaborate rhinestone costumes for country music performers, as well as early 19th-century examplesth century indigenous and cowboy clothing.
