Virgin Cruises returns to service with 8 updates

An adults-only cruise ship owned by Virgin Voyages has returned to service after receiving eight updates during a recent dry dock.

heroic lady Returning to service, there are new dining options, redesigned spaces and new entertainment facilities throughout the ship. There are more than 20 new activities on board, from the Red Room, The Manor, The Roundabout, The Perch, dining venues and late-night social spaces.

New updates for brave ladies

Ariya (Razzle Dazzle) – Virgin Voyages continues to lead the restaurant industry, and this is even more evident at Ariya, a modern Indian cuisine destination co-developed by Indie Culinaire and renowned chef Maneet Chauhan.

With seating for 220 sailors, the striking space is inspired by Indian spice markets and features a national menu. Everything from lamb shank biryani to popcorn and avocado chaat. There are also cocktails inspired by the same region.

It's named after Sir Richard Branson's great-great-grandmother, a Tamil Nadu traveler who believed food could cross oceans more easily than words. Ariya adds soul, color and story to the ship’s award-winning dining lineup.

sports club – The Sports Club, one of the most popular spots on the ship when sailing at sea, now features a new sun-covered daybed set and updated sea-facing lounge seating for even more comfort, shade and space.

a roundabout – The ship’s entertainment hub, Valiant Lady’s iconic roundabout features new furniture combinations.

Ground club too – The coffee shop in The Galley still serves Intelligentsia coffee all day. At night however, Grounds Club Too now evolves into a full bar from late afternoon onwards.

manor – The raised platform has been removed, opening up the dance floor and giving the room the space it deserves. The ship's nightclub now offers more freedom, activity and late-night electricity.

on the rocks – The stage at On the Rocks has been relocated to help improve sight lines from the ship’s center bar and now has additional seating.

pier – New stage settings and windshields will help make outdoor performances more comfortable in changing conditions.

retail – TAG and Pandora join the onboard store lineup, while the VV Brand store moves into a larger, more prominent space.
