During the event, 100 biodegradable candles made from coconut shells by local artists were placed on the river to signify blessings before the boat sailed to the Luxor Temple.

Each Legend of the Nile cruise will feature two Egyptologists, live entertainment from the TUI River Cruises team, and live traditional whirling dervishes and Nubian performances. Ports of call include Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan.

“We have sold 80% of our winter Nile cruises since launch and are seeing new bookings every week – we can’t wait to welcome these passengers on board this season.”
This line will TUI Bahareya launches second vessel on the Nile, next winter.
