“Hi, I'm Michelle and I live in Switzerland. When I graduated from college at the age of 23, I had a big dream: to travel the world. While I was excited to start exploring, I had never really traveled independently before, so the idea of setting off completely alone felt a little scary. “

“Taking 18 to 30+ tours gives me the perfect balance of independence and support. I can experience new countries, meet other travelers and get out of my comfort zone, all the while knowing that I have an experienced CEO and a great team traveling with me.”

“From that first trip, I was completely hooked. I made lifelong friends, discovered incredible destinations, and realized how much I loved traveling. I originally thought I would only go on one or two group tours, but over the past two years I have been on five different 18- to 30-something adventures. Today, I'm an elementary school teacher and I still travel whenever I can.”

“Before my first trip, I honestly had no idea what to expect and I was definitely nervous. Looking back now, I think that's completely normal when you're traveling with people you've never met before.”

“Those nerves disappeared almost immediately. The CEOs were always very kind, patient and knowledgeable, and they made everyone feel welcome from the start. Every team I traveled with was full of curious, open-minded people who wanted to experience a new culture and make real connections.”

“The whole experience exceeded my expectations because it was more than just visiting an amazing destination. It was also about the people I met along the way, the conversations we shared, and the friendships that lasted long after the trip was over.”

“Choosing a favorite memory is almost impossible as each trip has given me experiences I will never forget. Seeing mountain gorillas in the wild during my safari in Uganda was absolutely breathtaking and something I have dreamed of doing for years. Flying over the Serengeti National Park in a sunrise hot air balloon was another unforgettable moment. Watching the wildlife from the sky as the sun rose felt almost surreal.”

Namibia Also full of incredible experiences. Skydiving over Swakopmund took me well outside of my comfort zone, and spending the night under the stars in Spitzkop showed me one of the most beautiful night skies I have ever seen. Overnight at Botswana The Okavango Delta was another once-in-a-lifetime experience that brought me closer to nature. “

“Outside of Africa, kayaking through Halong Bay Vietnam It was spectacular and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is something I will never forget. I also enjoy participating in traditional tea ceremonies in small towns in southern Japan. This is a peaceful and meaningful way to learn about Japanese culture and traditions. “

“I have many more memories to mention, but these are the experiences that immediately come to mind whenever someone asks me about my travels.”

“I think it’s a perfect way to travel because you’re surrounded by people who are at a similar stage of life and have the same excitement about exploring the world.”

“Everyone is open to trying new experiences, learning about different cultures, and getting out of their comfort zone. Every trip challenges me in a different way, whether it's trying to take risks, learning more about local history or just becoming more confident.”

“It's more than just checking a destination off a bucket list. You get to know yourself, build lasting friendships, and come home with experiences that last a long time.”

“Not every memorable moment comes from an adventure. Visiting the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Japan was deeply moving. It was incredibly exciting to read about local people's experiences and learn about the impact of the atomic bombing. I had a very similar feeling when we visited the S-21 prison in Japan. Cambodia“.

“Both of these places are difficult to visit, but they are also important. Having the support of the team and CEO made a huge difference because we could talk about what we saw, share our thoughts and help each other process those emotions. Experiences like this remind you that traveling is not just about seeing beautiful places. It's also about learning from history, understanding different perspectives and recognizing the importance of building a better future.”

“The biggest surprise was how quickly complete strangers became true friends. Even though everyone was from different countries and backgrounds, we all shared the same curiosity and excitement about traveling. It didn't take long for us to realize how much we actually had in common.”

“One memory that always makes me smile is discovering that the American traveler sitting next to me was reading the exact same book as me. It was just a small coincidence, but it perfectly sums up how travel brings people together. It's amazing how quickly friendships develop when you share adventures every day. After just a few days, it feels like you've known each other forever.”

Incredible scenery of the Australian coast

“Before my first trip, I thought group travel meant you had to spend every minute with the group and follow a set schedule, without a lot of flexibility. I quickly realized that wasn't true at all.”

“While there are plenty of amazing experiences packed into the itinerary, there's also plenty of free time and you can choose how to spend the day. If you'd like to take part in optional activities, the CEOs are always happy to recommend and help organize them. If you'd like to explore on your own, relax with a coffee, or just enjoy some quiet time, that's totally your choice too.”

“I’m really pleased to have this flexibility as it means I can enjoy the benefits of group travel whilst still traveling in a way that suits me. The support of an experienced CEO also gives me confidence as I know there is always someone looking out for the safety and wellbeing of my team.”
