We've been waiting for this reopening, but in reality, it only started in October.
Come back on October 20th, holiday fun exist Disney's Hollywood Studios Closed for renovations until mid-December Confirmed to reopen on New Year's Eve. From December 27th, we will officially resume business!
Disney has never officially laid out the reason for shutting down holiday fun, or why it took two months, so We were curious to return to the theater to see what had changed.
Turns out the only difference is that Potatoland is back! Potatoland was removed when the theater's exit area was used as a merchandise location for Jollywood Nights, but now it's back. The carpets and seats may have been cleaned, and maybe some of the curtains were replaced or lightened, but we don't know for sure.
This is an animated short film starring Mickey and Minnie. It has a running time of about 11 minutes, so it's perfect for sitting down for a short break in a climate-controlled environment, which is always nice if it's hot or cold outside. It's super fun and cute, but it can also be a great place to take a nap.
When you walk out of the attraction, Don’t forget to check out the multiple available photos from each of the resorts you just saw in the moviebecause yes, this is more than just potato land!
Funnily enough, if you need an air-conditioned spot but don't want to watch the entire movie, you can also just go into this exit room and rest anytime the attraction is open.
