Hello! This is ground call Madison climbing Mount Rainier (4390m/14,410ft) and Ed Viesturs – Today is August 22.
Yesterday morning we stood out in the perfect weather on the highest peak of Washington! The entire team held a 100% success rate. Very good conditions! We left the Ingrahan Apartment (3383m/11,100ft) at 1:00am and were boarded shortly after sunrise. As we approach the edge of the crater, we have beautiful star shoes and beautiful sunrises. Then we kept going down to Heaven (1646m/5,400ft) Last night, our climbers all came home!
