A desert resort focused on holistic health in the heart of Palm Springs

Located on a quiet street, just one block from the bustling residential design area of Palm Springs. Terra Palm Springs HotelClose to all the events, but feels like a real refuge. This 13-room, private, adult-only health resort opened in January after a fully renovated approach, bringing overall wellness into every aspect, from Ayurvedic spa treatments to nourishing cocktails to regenerative bedside sleep aids.

A towering wooden door leads to the land, and there are a large number of products stored in a narrow area. The room is located on the side of the central courtyard, which has a nice sized swimming pool, hot tub and cold bath, surrounded by swaying palm trees and lush bird of paradise, all set against the backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains. Guests can relax on the comfortable lounge chairs by the pool, while the curtained cottage offers additional privacy. Two wellness rooms offer guests free of charge: a detox-free Himalayan salt sauna and a sensory rain room, a plant-filled space accompanied by soothing bird singing and thunderstorm during showers.

Double-as-a-bar, the small reception area offers a wide range of raw and healthy cocktails, including low-alcohol drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails and signature mixes like Terra Pina Colada, made with vegan coconut cream and a small amount of marine collagen for joint health. Guests can enjoy a drink by the pool or on the dining table, and the spray system keeps cool on hot desert days, with the twinkling lights adding to the atmosphere at night. There is no restaurant on site, but the fridge you carry with you contains a variety of locally made sandwiches and healthy snacks. In the morning, a free breakfast is served in the bar area, including boiled eggs, avocados, fruits, healthy bread, yogurt and fresh juices.

The rooms are peaceful and stylish spaces made of organic materials such as wood, stone and rattan and decorated in soothing neutral tones. The spa-style bathroom comes with a rain shower or soaking bathtub and Le Labo toiletries. The carefully curated minibar features a selection of healthy snacks, kombucha and probiotic bubble drinks, as well as wellness facilities such as facial masks, facial serums and steamers. To promote better sleep, the Loftie clock at the head of the bed provides meditation guidance, natural sound and two-stage alarm clock, and Vuori yoga mats and yoga bricks for indoor workouts. The suite is larger and has a private outdoor space with a soaking bathtub, fireplace or cold pool.

The dedicated spa offers Ayurvedic-style treatments, including balanced massage and lymphatic detoxification using therapeutic oils and herbs, plant body scrubs, reiki and Malma acupoint therapy (single or in combination).

Guests can enjoy free bike access to the surrounding area, including a movie colony full of historic homes, and a 5-acre wellness park with an outdoor gym, trails and meditation garden. Tennis rackets are also free, and the public court at Ruth Hardy Park is half a mile away. All designer boutiques, vintage antique shops, as well as stylish restaurants and bars in the residential design area are within a short walk.

Terra Palm Springs combines overall health with desert fashion, and guests can easily access all the attractions of Palm Springs.
