Snow flows like icebergs at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in December 2025
Snow Drift is a rotating roller coaster manufactured in-house by the British Mellors Group.
The ride makes its debut at the group's own venue fantasy island Amusement park in Skegness in the summer of 2025. was dismantled at the end of the season and taken to London to appear in winter wonderland In Hyde Park, it becomes the latest in the Fair Iceberg series of indoor coasters.
While it feels a lot like a carbon copy of the standard Rotary Wild Mouse, and the layout is very similar, Snow Drift is a nice surprise and has a few tricks up its sleeve.
It's very, very spiny, and the spin is unlocked for the entire ride line. It doesn't feel like there's much in the way of damper deployment, which results in some pretty sharp spins. It also runs smoothly and the ride is designed to be very comfortable.
While Snowstream is still just a standard wild rat, he's a good one. Sadly, Winter Wonderland visitors are still disappointed by Iceberg's low-quality theming (most of the time is spent spinning around in a pitch-black tent), but at least they get a decent – if bog-standard – coaster.
