Smithsonian Journeys has announced a slew of new itineraries for 2027, including river cruises, active tours and special eclipse tours.
The travel agency will offer new tours around the world, including its lifestyle series and cultural accommodations.
The new itineraries include three itineraries dedicated to viewing the eclipse, taking visitors to the best locations to view the 2027 total solar eclipse. Smithsonian tours will offer Nile River Cruise In Egypt, a Ponant Expedition Cruises Along the Iberian Peninsula and One week trip to Spainall locations are expected to provide the best viewing of the eclipse.
The operator has also added itineraries to its lifestyle and cultural accommodation range, Denmark one week itinerary;Itinerary with an emphasis on art history Paris and madrid; and a 23-day trip greek islands.
Greek Islands Life: Poros Tour itinerary is designed to allow travelers to immerse themselves in the destination and experience it like a local during their extended stay. Highlights include attending lectures by Greek history experts, exploring iconic sites such as Athens and the Acropolis, and visiting ancient Mycenaean ruins.
Smithsonian tours will also operate Two river cruises with AmaWaterways Next year in France and on the Mekong.
