Royal Caribbean has officially picked up and delivered Ocean StarThis is its next ship at the idol-level level after nearly two years of construction at the Meyer Turku Shipyard in Finland. The ship is scheduled to debut from Port Canaveral, Florida (Orlando) this August.
More than 1,250 crew members and partners gathered in a water park on board to mark handovers. Delivery marks the formal transfer of ownership from Meyer Turku to the Royal Caribbean and highlights key engineering milestones, including installations of glass and steel and six record-breaking water slides. Ocean Star The final dress will be soon from Turku to Cádiz, Spain, before launching a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruises that include the perfect day in Cococay in the Bahamas.

Ocean Star The largest resort in the Caribbean will be doubled, with eight neighborhoods with over 40 dining, drinking and entertainment options. Highlights include:
- Thrill Island -Category 6 is home to the largest water park on the sea, with six record slides; Crown edge, hybrid riding 154 feet above the ocean. Plus mobile surf simulator and rock climbing wall.
- Chill Island – A three-story pool area with four pools including the largest Royal Bay on the sea. Swimming bar, live music and lime and coconut bar are thoroughly figured out.
- surf – A family-friendly community with splash areas for kids, a relaxing adult pool, and year-round dining at Surfside restaurant and Pier 7.
- Aquadome – An Oceanview space with high-tech water sports camera, nighttime playback, and dining options like hooked seafood, rye and beans, as well as the Aquadome Market.
- Hide – A 135-foot place on the water with an infinity pool, DJ, bar, whirlpool and panoramic view.
Other outstanding features include a remodeled Royal Promenade with views of the landing, as well as the world's largest sculpture of dynamic art, a lush Central Park with over 30,000 plants, and a banquet club in Lincoln Park. Guests can stay in an upgraded suite on four decks with a private sun deck and a two-story coastal kitchen.
Star It is the third LNG-powered vessel in the Royal Caribbean Sea, including sustainable technologies such as waste heat recovery and coastal power compatibility. It supports the brand’s goal of launching a net-zero cruise ship by 2035. Next icon ship, The Legend of the Oceanscheduled for 2026.
