If you're ready to make a room request, you can try our new service room request Page. (You need to have Active TouringPlans Disney World Visit Use this feature. )

    room request screen

If you already have a trip or booking on your dashboard, you can select it from the green box at the top and most of the details will fill in automatically. If you do not do this, a new trip (generally titled “WDW Trip May 1, 2026”) and appropriate reservation will be automatically created on your dashboard when you fill out this form.

If you choose to use the Room Finder (shown above left), after clicking the blue button you will be taken to the tool to explore and select an ideal room Make a request using the room finder The button is at the bottom.

If you don't want to use the room finder (pictured above right), enter your request in the room characteristics box (for example, “Ground Floor Room”). After clicking your request will be completed Create a room requestyou will see it on the dashboard.

    Dashboard updates

For those of you who have used our room request tool before, these changes should be fairly intuitive: If you'd like, you can continue to do everything from the TouringPlans dashboard's “Itineraries” tab, which looks a little different:

    TouringPlans Dashboard Travel

The “Jenny's Birthday” trip above had 3 hotel reservations, reflecting a 1+2 night “split stay” vacation at Disney World, followed by 3 nights at a Universal Orlando hotel. If needed, I can click “Request a Room” to make a room request for each Disney World reservation. If the booking request already exists, the button will change to “Edit Request”.

    How to handle existing requests

If you configured room requests before, you don't need to do anything: it will be sent as scheduled and you should see this on your dashboard.

It’s okay if you have separate tours for each hotel stay on the same vacation. It won't do any harm to leave them in place and I recommend you do so. If you do want to merge them, you can do this manually by editing and/or deleting the old itinerary and creating a new itinerary containing all bookings and requests. But you may lose your room request information in the process. Next time you create an itinerary for a future vacation, you can more easily take advantage of the multi-destination, multi-booking feature.
