After another fun adaptation day in the Holy Valley, the team started their trek this morning. After checking in to the park service and showing the passport to match its permit, the team was allowed to cross the bridge and start a four-day trek to Machu Picchu through the Inca route! IMG Guide Michel Henostroza was able to send some photos from the trails and send them early on the hike, while he still had some signals. Today, the first night in Wayllabamba, about 10,000 feet is a long gradual rise. Camp staff will continue to carry on the tent and the chef will work hard to develop a special meal to start the trip. Everything is fine in Peru!
