JetBlue, already the largest airline in Puerto Rico by the number of seats flown, will add five more routes from San Juan next March.
The airline will fly year-round from Philadelphia to San Juan; Buffalo, New York; Jacksonville, Florida; and Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia. With the new flights, JetBlue will fly to 22 cities from San Juan.
Starting March 13, flights to Jacksonville will operate four times per week. Starting March 26, flights to Philadelphia will operate daily. Flights to Richmond will begin on March 26 and will operate three times per week. JetBlue will operate four flights per week between San Juan-Norfolk and San Juan-Buffalo starting March 27.
According to Cirium flight data, JetBlue has launched 17 routes to San Juan this month, second only to Frontier's 20 routes. But JetBlue operates more than twice as many flights as Frontier and has 77% more seats.
