HX Redesigns Travel Advisor Portal: Travel Weekly

After an eight-month rebrand, HX (formerly known as Hurtigruten Expeditions) has launched New Travel Advisor Portal and online education.

The updated portal, which provides access to the latest marketing materials, brochures and webinars, is another step in the brand’s rebranding effort that began in December. Adopt HX name To simplify the name and to distinguish it from the Hurtigruten Coastal Express cruise ships sailing in Norway.

The portal features one-hour training sessions covering destinations, sustainability, science and education, and life on board. The training is concise, engaging, short and interactive quizzes to deepen advisors’ understanding of the HX product.

Consultants who complete the training by the end of August will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $150 gift card. Upon completion, they will receive an online travel training certificate and a certification logo.

HX this year began hosting a monthly webinar series covering destinations such as Antarctica, Iceland and Greenland, as well as the Canadian Arctic and Svalbard, and detailing expedition offerings. The series will be available on the portal. The company also launched a B2B help desk in May at (866) 312-6791.

HX will upload new marketing materials, including a sales guide and destination packs, in September, HX said.

HX said it will pay a 25% commission for Galapagos cruises booked through Dec. 31, 2024, for sailings through Dec. 31, 2025.
