Less than a week until #SpotLAX2022! Here is our planned schedule of events. This year, fan-favorite restaurants like Donuts On The Deck and Saturday night dinners at The Proud Bird are back again. New this year is our first-ever Friday afternoon gathering on the roof of the new LAX Economy Parking Lot.
Friday, September 16
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Join us on the new roof Economy parking garage Enjoy the view from this new LAX viewing location. Walk in, take the shuttle from the terminal (look for the pink sign), or pay for parking. The new garage is located 6100 W 94th St, Los Angeles, CA, 90045.
8:00 pm: Regal Riverside Hotel Guests, bring your favorite takeout and join us for dinner on the rooftop. For many people who attend regularly, Benny's Tacos Has become a Friday night favorite.
9:00pm: Enjoy dessert on the rooftop of H Hotel. We will be enjoying delicious churros provided by Hype aviation!
Saturday, September 17
8:30 AM: The Aviation Committee meets on the rooftop of the H Hotel to discuss all aviation matters, with frequent breaks to take photos of aircraft.
11:00 am: The grumpy Docfest Located in In-N-Out Burger Park on Sepulveda Blvd. Spend some time watching the planes and talking business. A raffle will also be held on site with a wide variety of prizes.
2:00 PM: Afternoon viewing at a location of your choice! Some may return to the H Hotel rooftop in the afternoon. Others might head to the Proud Bird patio for a post-Duke party. Of course, there are always Imperial Mountain/Clutter Park On the south side of the airport.
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Have dinner with us proud bird. We are excited to once again host our annual dinner event at this fan-favorite location! Pick up food of your choice from the food hall and join the team. We hope to be able to utilize their patio as our gathering space, so stay tuned. Of course, we also have our own raffle, which is an annual tradition. Please note that The Proud Bird currently closes at 8:00pm.
Sunday, September 18
9:00 AM: For H Hotel guests, we will be serving donuts on the deck, sponsored by JetTip.net. There will be coffee and donuts from world-renowned brands Randy's Donuts For everyone to enjoy.
