Universal Orlando announced its first original concept house for Halloween horror night this year.
Creative Director Michael Aiello revealed at the Weird Empire Conference in Orlando today El Artista: Spain's trouble.
“In 19th-century Spain, a tortured artist moved into an isolated country estate, but the art lived and owned him,” Universal Pictures said in a subsequent social media announcement.
El Artista was inspired by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, designs including the ghost effects of pepper and spirits passing through the walls.
Universal Studios' previously announced house theme is Advent and Jason Universe's Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood. Universal also said Freddy's five nights will also be attending this year's event.
While activities on both coasts share multiple IPS exteriors, each coast also develops its own original concept. So the house seems to be the exclusive Orlando tour of this year’s Halloween Horror Night, which starts on August 29 and is until November 2 through November 2.
