Welcome to the depths of off-season theme parks, where girls like me live in a cold state, do nothing and sit there to watch movies and theme park video blogs.
Staying in this boring pit for two months has caused me to think about so many stories about the roller cups. The rides I compiled here are those that spread my imagination, which are with a vast backstory or knowledge, not necessarily the top of anyone’s best coaster list.
There is no particular order, here are my choices for roller coasters with the greatest potential:
1. Wildfire in Silver Yuan City
In fact, the background of this B&M ride-off is wild – only living in the quirky Ozark Mountain Park in Silver Dollar City. To be fair, many of the attractions in Silver Dollar City can make great movies (I'm watching you, the time traveler), but the wildfires are too unique to pass.
I can explain the background of this picturesque roller coaster, but I will direct you to the park’s official promotional event:
“The inventor's extraordinary man, Dr. Horatio Harris, is obsessed with creating aircraft that can travel through the Ozark Mountain Treetops. In his pursuit, he developed a dedicated fuel to push his device. Wildfire® is named after this explosive mixture , is a modern speed machine! ” (Silverdollarcity.com)
The storyline only expands in the extended queue of the ride itself. Drawings, newspaper clippings, Dr. Horatio Harris's office and aircraft are visible. They helped piece together the story of this lunatic inventor.
This story will work well in the form of works by Benicio del Toro (the shape of water, the maze of Pan) period. It is well known that Toro can blend genres and use practical special effects, which is important in films about Zany's invention in historical contexts.
2. The mysterious wood of Kings Island
This GCI introduction has been my favorite since my first visit to Kings Island in 2022. It's weird, unique, and everything that makes the supernatural thriller make everything. Since the premise of aliens and monsters exceeds a timber company, the roller coaster may stand out directly from the X-Files episode.
According to Visitkingsisland.com, the knowledge behind this roller coaster is as follows: “Based on an abandoned timber company, riders weave along wooded terrain, on water and through midway tunnels, 16 years of experience The speed of the call time is as high as 53 mph… As the train climbs onto the 109-foot lift, I heard a voice saying, “Hey! Hey! I saw you there! What do you think you are doing? This is security. Seriously, guys, you need to take that truck home to watch video games. This place is not safe. No matter what you do, don't walk into the shed! Then start venturing into unknowns. ”
We like to add the audio of the story to the story. In this theoretical film, the same audio will make a cute Easter egg for fans, directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Deadpool and Wolverine).
Levy will be the perfect choice for making this roller coaster a family-friendly paranormal adventure starring a group of new immigrants. He will bring wit, the weirdness needed for Halloween hits. We just hope the ending in the shed is not as incredible as it is in real life.
3. Steel of cedar dots
I still remember when the concept of steel revenge was released. As a self-proclaimed Western-type fan, I was delighted to see another roller coaster themed on this theme (there may be the appeal of Western-themed in every theme park).
Of course, this is a unique view of this genre, because while Steel Revenge is its own ride, its storyline hints at the larger overall story with nearby attractions Maverick. From Cedar Point Website:
“Illegal Blackjack, chess and excavators have returned to Frontier town to reclaim the measures taken by the Mavericks in the previous years. They are back with revenge. Their creations are so bold that they have created a new category of roller coasters: Super Miscellaneous”
Isn't it cool to see this roller coaster come to life in western space? Covering the “steel” elements makes me think that this story belongs to the future, rather than the typical spaghetti western environment. Joining the Mavericks' cameo will be the icing on the cake.
As for the helm of this movie? I brought legend Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, Rango) to retire and had him work with Hans Zimmer for scores. This pairing will make for an epic cyberpunk adventure with an electrical soundtrack and a strong overall storyline that may span the trilogy like the Pirates of the Caribbean.
4. Out of control mountain of Texas Six Flags
Like most rotors who do not have intellectual property (IP) to strengthen their six flags, we have more room for swing here. While I can’t find an explanation for what I know about this ride, I do remember being surprised by the theme of this major indoor roller coaster when I rode in 2022.
I think the easiest way to turn this boxed roller coaster into a great movie is to Slogans on six flags on Texas website: “The out-of-control mountain is really terrifying…or is it your imagination?”
Who messes up your mind better than Christopher Nolan (Inception, Oppenheimer)’s simple premise in the cinema? He would be the perfect person to control the psychological thriller of traditional adventures.
5. Fly toward the illusion and flight
Which other roller coasters are as deep as owning their own dedicated land and hotel? Vekoma Flying Coaster lives in an incredible fantasy and exotic world of Cologne, Germany by plane.
Don't believe this roller coaster will do for a fascinating movie? The park has a perfect trailer tagline here:
“White steam rises from the streets. A revolutionary aircraft majestic towards the sky. In the distance, the thunder of the machine: the pulse of Fort Ruk wakes up!” (phantasialand.de/en/)
I especially like “Rukeburg's pulse wakes up!”
Don't complain when I say I'm going to hire Greta Gerwig (Barbie doll, little woman). Gerwig has skeptics, especially her interesting comments about the Netflix Narnia remake, but her backlog is speechless. She knows how to take over the wonders of an established brand and take it root with every emotional rhythm hit.
Gerwig has a popular working relationship with a few actors, and she will certainly play most of them for the project. Timothée Chalamet (Dune, Wonka) will be played in the titular role of Charles Lindbergh. As co-leaders, we will see Saoirse Ronan (Little Woman, Mrs. Bird) next to Chalamet. Both will bring great chemistry to the film, which will soon become a classic of steampunk romance.
With famous people and gorgeous surroundings, the film will become so successful that Gerwig will be brought back to create a medieval epic inspired by Taron (also in Phantom). After that, we will enter half of the Phantom and Cinematic Universe.
There is it there. Five roller coasters can make great movies. Which roller coaster will you add to this list? Let us know in the comments.
