Six Flags Qiddiya said on its social media today that Falcon Flights will open on December 31.
When the Intamin coaster debuts, it will be the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in the world. The city of Qiddia posted a “no goggles required” note on its social media today, throwing some shade at the current coaster speed record holder.
The current record holder, Formula Rossa at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, provides its drivers with Google, which is required. The roller coaster starts from the indoor theme park and travels outside on the beach.
Although Falcons Flight is an outdoor coaster on the Arabian Peninsula that runs even faster than Formula Rossa, no goggles are required on Falcons Flight. Since its announcement, the coaster has been one of the most anticipated new thrill rides in the world.
Six Flags Qiddiya City is set to open on December 31, but as of today, the park has not made it clear that Falcon Flight will be one of its opening rides.
