Hyatt Hotels Corporation will introduce its Lifestyle brand subtitles to the Australian market next month and opens a new 174-room hotel in Haymarket in Sydney.
The title of Hyatt Central Sydney, located on Parker Street, opens on October 13, 2025 with local connections and community fronts and centers.
The title of Hyatt is part of Hyatt’s global portfolio, Hyatt is an upscale lifestyle brand that revolves around flexibility, supporting technology flexibility, based on a community-first spirit.

Sydney's locations in the United States, Japan and China are its first opening in the Southern Hemisphere.
“The brand is about people and places – bringing people together and connecting them, and it's also our local community,” said the title of Sydney Central General Manager Temara Extron. Um.
“Hyatt has a high reputation for luxury and lifestyle and is growing in select services. I feel like there are many opportunities for this type of hotel, it has all the essentials but is more flexible and fun.”

Talk Shop is an all-day social space, a hotel’s café, bar and community center that will be the focus of the hotel, from trivia and poetry nights to live music and art exhibitions, participating in local events, pop-ups and collaborative events.
Interior designers Mitchell and Eades weave elements of local history into the hotel’s design and work with local artist Chris Yee to bring Sydney’s cultural heritage and urban energy to interest.
The hotel operates under the practice of eco-consciousness and works with local suppliers to provide food, beverages and amenities.

Exton said the hotel will offer a “guest-led, host-powered” technology experience and offer mobile check-in and keyless room entrance.
“With self-activated experience, purposeful design and F&B, including Talk Shop, our social space all day, we connect for the community,” Exton said.
“We provide something fresh and accessible to the Australian market.”
Hyatt’s vice president, global sales, Hyatt sales force, Asia Pacific, Kate Atkinson said the Hyatt title meets the evolving needs of modern travelers.
