Japan Airlines (JAL) will begin operating flights between Tokyo Narita Airport and Chicago Ohl Airport on May 31. The airline will also increase flights from other cities in the United States to a hot tourist destination in Japan.
Tokyo Narita-Chicago route operated by the airline was in March 2023, and the route will expand daily flight services between Tokyo Haneda and Ohel.
Japan Airlines will compete with Ohel-Narita routes of all-Air Air. It has competed with all-day Airlines and United Airlines on the Chicago-Haneda City route. Sirim Flight timetable data shows.
Japan Airlines will share code sharing with US Airlines on Narita-Ohl route. Tickets will be sold on February 12. The airline did not disclose the type of aircraft used by the route.
Japan Airlines also said that this summer will increase flights between Narita Airport and San Diego and the flights between Osaka and Los Angeles and Honolulu. Although Japan Airlines does not have a specific explanation, CIRIUM data shows that these routes will be operated every day from April.
