Disneyland and Lego launch large-scale Main Street, U.S.A. toy worth 0. It looks great and worth every penny!

LEGO has announced a new Disneytown Main Street, U.S.A. set that pays homage to the iconic opening show at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This post shares the release of this awesome set, photos previewing the release, and our review of it (although the aforementioned “awesome” might just give me away).

As I've shared in other posts, I'm a LEGO fan. Like other kids, I grew up loving building Legos. I also love every time I go to Toys R Us, flipping through the catalog, and daydreaming. Even as an adult, I'm still interested in Lego because I think, One day when we have a babyI would “help” build Lego sets again. When the LEGO Disney Castle set was first released I put this call out to Sarah and found a deal.

This rationale understandably comes into play before the child is born. For the next two years, I absolutely Entering the citystrategically purchase multiple sets at deep discounts during sales. As our pantry fills up with more and more (and bigger) LEGO boxes, I can tell I'm getting tired of this excuse. But hopefully Megatron is advanced beyond her years and we'll start making some of these suits soon! If all goes according to plan, you'll be reading Bricker's brick blog soon. Then no one can stop me from buying more Legos – it’s the perfect crime!

I also know I'm far from the only one who is also a Disney adult Lego for adults. Every time we visit Downtown Disney, I feel the need to take Megatron to the LEGO store (for educational purposes of course). The LEGO store is actually the only store with an almost permanent line. I get it, because the LEGO store is a great place to browse.

In fact, there seems to be a lot of overlap between LEGO and Disney fans, and I'm honestly surprised that this is only the third major Disneyland set LEGO has released in the past decade. This is another reason why I posted this.

it is not only Pretend to buy it for yourself and justify the move to DTB's CFO (although, full disclosure, that's most of it), but it's also about getting more Disney fans on board the figurative (and I guess literal) Lego train, so we'll see more releases like this. But we got off track – let’s dig into the details of the announcement…

Disneyland and Lego launch large-scale Main Street, U.S.A. toy worth 0. It looks great and worth every penny!

The LEGO Group today launched the LEGO Disney Main Street, U.S.A. set, a 3,899-piece set commemorating the 70th anniversary of Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. Aimed at adult fans and collectors, this set offers a collaborative building experience.

The model recreates several famous Main Street locations, including the fire station, Disneyland Mall, Crystal Emporium and jewelry stores. It includes 15 LEGO minifigures: Disney Mickey Mouse, Disney Minnie Mouse, Gus (from cinderella) and Sebastian (from little mermaid), alongside Main Street performers such as Dapper Dans, popcorn vendors, store workers, vehicle drivers and other guests.

The set also features buildable elements, including a fire truck, popcorn truck, mouse and crab figures, as well as themed accessories designed to enhance storytelling and presentation.

The firehouse section contains a representation of the Disney Family Apartments, referencing Walt Disney's legacy. Other details throughout the set include interior displays and miniature references to famous Disney attractions such as Sleeping Beauty Castle, Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion, as well as the wider Disney franchise.

The set was designed to reflect the atmosphere and storytelling of Main Street, U.S.A., combining architectural features with character-based elements. Fans can collaborate with friends and family through the LEGO Building App’s Build Together feature, which allows multiple users to build different pieces at the same time.

The LEGO® | Disney Street USA (43302) set will be in early access for LEGO Insiders from 1 June 2026 and available to everyone from 4 June 2026, priced at £319.99 / €349.99 / $399.99. For more information and to purchase at LEGO.com/DisneyMainStreet or visit your nearest LEGO store.

our review

Obviously, this is awesome. This should be a nice transition scene from Disney's train station to Disney's Cinderella Castle. In fact, back in 2019 when the former was released, I half-jokingly said that now we only need one Full The Main Street, U.S.A. version, full of marshmallow and hot dog scents.

I guess this doesn't deliver the aforementioned scent, but it otherwise completes the opening act of Lego Disneyland. It's not really Magic Kingdom or Disneyland as it's a hybrid of the two. I think it cleverly picks out the best aspects of each and offers a pleasing combination that should satisfy Both Fan of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Of course, purists may disagree.

LEGO has to take a middle ground here, so the marketing allows it to appeal to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World fans. That's why the street isn't specifically named Disneyland Avenue, even though it's clearly that. Like “Disney Castle” is obviously Cinderella Castle and not Sleeping Beauty Castle, but its coast isn't specified either.

It would be a little weird to have the Magic Kingdom's castle and the Disneyland Railroad side by side in brick form, but it's no weirder than visiting Tokyo Disneyland and having it displayed in brick and mortar form. Think of this as Best of both worlds Condition.

I appreciate the authenticity of the architecture and how LEGO really captured the essence of Disneyland's Main Street without recreating the entire thing. Thanks for the many little details including the trash cans and lampposts. I think there's really nothing to fault here, at least not yet. Another home run for LEGO.

My only “complaint” is that the price of $400 is too high. I'd probably wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday to see if there's a sale, since the extra 20% off would make it more manageable. Even if not, I'm honestly happy with the cost as it seems like it was worth every penny. That's also assuming I can wait to buy it, and I'm not sure I can hold out for that long! (What do I hear from the comments…you need to review this in time for Christmas in July?!)

As I pointed out to Sarah many times, LEGO sets are a smart investment that often outperform the stock market. Seriously! It's reassuring to know that LEGO sets not only retain their value, but actually appreciate in value. This makes me feel that my hobby is not childish, but mature and mature.

There's nothing better than collecting popcorn buckets or other boring things; this is serious business. At least, that's what I tell myself! (I would also point out that historically Figment heirlooms have also increased in value over time. So if there were two categories of investment-grade Disney memorabilia, it would be LEGO and Figment. It's purely coincidental that I collect both.)

Just kidding, I do think Lego sets are great for kids and even an engaging activity for other people. Not really complicated, but good for mental acuity or whatever. I also know that this will provide me with dozens of hours of entertainment, making it more valuable per hour than Disneyland. Not that I need to justify buying this set…Well, actually, I kinda like it!

If anything, the release of LEGO Disney Street has made me really regret not purchasing the LEGO Disney Train and Station set. Back in 2019, the $330 cost combined with the reality that I had yet to assemble the Disney Castle set made it a hard sell.

It didn't help that we walked around with the Lego Disney Castle. This giant unbuilt Cinderella Castle box has now been spread across three states, taking up a lot of space in several small apartments in the process. But it was all worth it when Megatron and I finally put together this iconic suit. I can not wait.

Even though it has been retired for a long time, I still look for the LEGO Disney train and station sets from time to time. Unsurprisingly, the first search result was LEGO.com, which listed the sale price in a preview clip. This excited me until I realized it was permanently out of stock. If only I had known then what I know now.
