Once a cherished family home, the property has been transformed into a private, adults-only retreat. It still has the love and soul of a home, yet has all the hallmarks of a high-end boutique hotel. My perfect storm!

While touring the property (which is stunning) with owner Deb Garske, I asked her about the name 28 Degrees. Its name not only reflects the latitude of Byron Bay but is also a nostalgic tribute to the owners’ childhood spent on Norfolk Island, weaving two iconic coastal heritages into one exquisite destination.
