Airlines such as American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines are currently offering round-trip fares as low as $261. We found multiple nonstop routes from departure cities such as Boston, Chicago, Dallas and New York City in this sale. Southwest Airlines fares can now be viewed in the search Google Flightswhich also saves us the trouble of going to its website to check the travel costs.
The travel window for this sale is September through February 2025, but the best availability we’re seeing is in November and December. If you live in the Northeast or Midwest, this is the perfect time to plan a winter vacation to the beaches of Mexico. Best of all, some routes do include the Thanksgiving holiday.

This promotion applies to Economy Class fares. You can bring one free carry-on bag on all airlines except United. Southwest fares also allow two free checked bags, so you can bring your swimsuit and sandals. Other airlines charge between $35 and $40 each way for a checked bag.

Sample Flight
We found Southwest Airlines flying nonstop from Chicago to Cancun for just $266 round trip. This trip flew from Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) to Cancun International Airport (CUN) in late September.
We found the same low price on this route in early November.
There are also discounts for flights from Boston to Mexico. JetBlue Airways launched nonstop flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Cancun in November, with round-trip fares starting at $284.
According to Google Flights, fares on this route are typically nearly double that price in the fall.
JetBlue also launched nonstop flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Cancun in December, with round-trip tickets costing just $283.
We’ve also found some nonstop American Airlines flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Mexico with fall fares as low as $261.
