Explora Journeys launches its Chef Invitation Series featuring multi-Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx!
Board the ship and set sail Discovery II On the 11-night Caribbean cruise departing from Miami, Chef Marx will be invited by Culinary Director Franck Garanger to create an exclusive dining experience for guests.
“Chef Max and I have known each other for many years, we are both the sons of bakers. We have honed our craft for countless years at various locations,” said Franck Garanger, culinary director of Explora Journeys. “I am delighted that we are reunited on this journey and there is no doubt that Thierry will be surprised and delighted by his culinary excellence.”
About dining experience
- Guests will enjoy a culinary experience with Chef Thierry Marx, attending cooking workshops and exclusive private dinners.
- In Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, they will visit a local market with a chef who will share tips for choosing local ingredients.
- In Antigua, guests will visit local herb and vegetable producers for a tasting and head to the famous Fishermen's Wharf for fresh fish and lobster.
- Chefs will demonstrate seafood selection techniques and share stories of the island’s maritime culture.
- The tour will also feature a panel discussion with Thierry Marx.
- The series will be Explore One and One two.
