Breeze Air launches nonstop flights to Nassau, Bahamas. The service will begin on June 11, 2026, with two weekly flights from Tampa. This is Breeze's first international airport flight from Tampa International Airport to Lynden Pindling International Airport.
This new route is great news for travelers looking for more network to travel from Florida to the Bahamas. It will also provide them with a convenient, affordable option for visiting the Bahamas during the summer tourist season.
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investment and Aviation (BMOTIA) welcomed the announcement, which will “enhance airlift and partnerships from key U.S. markets.” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation I. Chester Cooper believes the new service will advance the island's core tourism growth strategy and provide opportunities for “increased tourism, investment and economic activity opportunities”.
Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman praised the new service. “This currently unavailable route to the Bahamas will be a great addition to our Tampa network and an ideal destination for summer travel.”
