Atrium Hospitality shares inaugural WomenRISE graduates

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – In celebration of National Career Development Month in November, Atrium Hotel Announcing the graduation of the first class of womenRISE, the company’s female hotel general manager development program. WomenRISE launches in February 2024 and ends in October this year. The next batch of future career development general managers for 2025 is currently being selected.

Atrium Hospitality is committed to developing female hospitality leaders through its WomenRISE program. The program supports women in taking the next step in their careers by providing mentorship, resources and opportunities for growth.

“The first year of Atrium’s innovative WomenRISE program has been a huge success. WomenRISE participants, instructors and mentors overwhelmingly believe that the investment in time and resources is accelerating the career paths of women in hospitality,” said Chief Human Resources, Atrium Hospitality Officer Anneliesse Cooper said.

“Through virtual group sessions, personal interviews and 360-degree assessments to identify strengths and areas for development, Atrium’s WomenRISE 2024 course participants receive focused training and guidance to confidently move forward in their hospitality careers,” said Cooper.

Over the course of nine months this year, WomenRISE participants:

  • Attend scheduled opportunities to explore their leadership qualities.
  • Established their network within Atrium.
  • Gain learning in specific topics related to hotel operations.
  • Prepare to take the next step into a general manager role.

Atrium's inaugural WomenRISE class included nine participants from Atrium-managed hotels in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. Program participants were selected during Atrium's 2023 portfolio-wide talent review and come from various departments including operations, sales, marketing and finance.
