Last night was a busy night at 11K Camp! All remaining IMG Denali teams met – Team 4 on the descent, Teams 5 and 6 on the ascent – and had time to check in, connect and provide updates on the summit.
Team 4 is now back in Talkeetna and en route to Anchorage. The weather was bad the first few days of the trip and progress was slow, but their time on the mountain was very productive! However, any High One adventure is a long and tiring journey, and we know they're looking forward to a good night's sleep in a real bed!
After a day off from 11K yesterday, Team 5 will do 13K today. They will spend the night again at Camp 11K tonight before planning to move to Camp 14K tomorrow.
Team 6 will run 13K tomorrow and are getting a good rest every day. Although the six teams are small but powerful, we look forward to catching up with them again tomorrow!
