Now that Disney's FastPass+ has been retired, a new program has been replaced that allows guests to enter the Lightning Lane, a physical line that is traditionally shorter than the wait line.
One way guests can gain access to the attraction’s Lightning Alley is by adding Disney Genie+ to their theme park admission.
With Disney Genie+, guests will be able to choose their return time for lightning access to more than 40 attractions across four theme parks.
Using the Lightning Lane throughout the day will significantly reduce the time guests spend in long lines.
4. Purchase a personal Lightning Pass

Another way for guests to gain access to Lightning Alley is by purchasing a personal Lightning Alley pass.
Personal Lightning Passes can be used with Disney Genie+ or without purchasing Disney Genie+.
Disney has set aside some major attractions at each theme park that are not available through the Disney Genie+ service.
Instead, guests can choose to pay to use Lightning Pass at these major attractions during designated hours.
Pricing and availability for these attractions will be visible in the My Disney Experience app, and prices will fluctuate based on demand.
5. Book a private VIP tour

To ultimately save time, guests are encouraged to book a private VIP tour to skip the long lines and enjoy Disney’s signature services.
