New paint!

Over at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, The Muppets are taking over G Force Records. Re-themed rides will reopen on May 26we just got a shiny new update.

Sunset Boulevard gets a new coat of paint. Before the attraction reopens, The Rock 'n' Roller patio entrance received a fresh, shiny coat of silver paint.

So shiny!

Previously, the entryway was a mix of neutral, sandy tones. This is another big change we're seeing in the color scheme around the ride. The silver also matches the updates we saw on the car at the entrance! We love the touch of chrome.

The opening date is just over a month away and things are looking better and better. There appear to be three different shades of gray and silver, giving the arches a more dynamic look, similar to the previous paint job.

Take a closer look at the color!

This week, Disney also gave us a peek at the attraction’s new queues! There are plenty of hidden details to fascinate Muppet fans, like the details this box reminds us of in Muppet Vision 3D.

Disney even pointed out the Gonzo statue from the original Muppet movie! It was on top of his hose truck, but it fell off, breaking an arm. Luckily, Gonzo brought it back and kept it, so we can now find it in the queue for the ride.

Disney also gave us our first look at Dr. Teeth and Animatronic Mayhem on the ride! They looked amazing and our whole team was stunned.

They even shared a full list of rides you can hear at the attraction! Of course, they also have some celebrity cameos. These 5 songs are:

    • “Born to be wild” — Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (of Steppenwolf fame)
    • “Roller Coaster of Love” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson and Questlove
    • “Rock! Rock! (Til You Drop)” – Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
    • “Walking in the Sun” – Electric Chaos ft. Kelly Clarkson
