The traditional (and sweet) art of sugar painting appears again behind the Good Luck House.

There are 3 pricing tiers with a total of 12 design options. Annual passholder discounts apply.

Good Luck House is open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm every day, but Tang Hua Tang Pavilion is open from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with intermittent breaks and lunch.

You will receive your candy paintings in a plastic bag as pictured above.

We got the dragon above and managed to keep it intact for a few minutes! There are no colors or flavors to choose from so everything tastes like sugar. But truly beautiful sugar! After deducting the AP discount, we paid $23.96 for the Dragon.

Our Panda is priced at $8.63 after AP discounts.
These exquisite sugar paintings may not appear one by one outside the German pavilion, so we are not planning to take one home as a souvenir. Consider it a very lovely, albeit fleeting, treat. We are so glad they are back!
What do you think? Are these sugar-painted candies worth your vacation? If so, let us know which design you would choose!
