Times Square finally has its own viewing platform! At a total cost of $500 million, Times Square, previously used only for giant advertising screens, has been transformed into a new visitor center.
The highlight is definitely the observation deck, which offers a 360-degree view of the hustle and bustle below. The observation deck is expected to be officially opened in early 2026. A trial opening with limited tickets has already taken place in December 2025.

Join some of New York's other iconic observation decks such as top of rock, Edge Hudson Yards, Vanderbilt One,as well as Empire State BuildingThe Times Square Observation Deck is the first observation deck to allow visitors to directly view the action in Times Square.
Although not as impressive as any of the Empire State Building's observation decks (the incredible views available from the 103rd and 86th floor observation decks), Times Square will offer views from the 26-story building, but will still give you a clear view of the action and life in Times Square below.
