Kolet partners with Philippine Airlines…

French startup Kolet is partnering with Philippine Airlines to launch its myPAL eSIM solution. Upon landing, passengers will receive two days of mobile data (1GB) to get through the first moments of their stay.

Kolet continues its eSIM advocacy work. The new partnership with Philippine Airlines (PAL) aims to provide passengers with immediate transfers upon arrival. The package includes two days of mobile data, of which 1GB covers basic needs for the first few hours upon arrival on the ground.

Kolet's embedded SIM (eSIM) is added to a compatible smartphone before departure and activated upon arrival. eSIM leverages multiple local partner networks to automatically select the best option based on location and service conditions to ensure fast and reliable connections. For multi-country itineraries, one eSIM can cover multiple destinations, simplifying service continuity throughout the journey.

One of the most pivotal moments of the trip

The promise of myPAL eSIM is to provide travelers with the smoothest experience possible during those critical airport moments when they leave the plane and need to find transportation, retrieve accommodation reservations or contact a contact.

“A great journey is made of the little things done right. Connectivity is one of them. Travelers don't remember the roaming plan they purchased, they remember the moment they landed and everything was working perfectly,” said Eduardo Ronzano, CEO of Kolet. “We are proud to partner with Philippine Airlines to launch myPAL eSIM to remove friction from one of the most critical moments in travel: arrival.”

This collaboration mainly confirms Kolet’s strategy of signing multiple agreements with airlines to integrate connectivity into the passenger journey. Philippine Airlines strives to highlight service at every stage from booking to boarding to promote the adoption of technology that is still little known to the public. While Kolet's 2025 activity is split evenly between B2C and B2B, co-founder and chief marketing officer Anne-Carole Cöen doesn't rule out that a portion of B2C acquisitions will actually stem from increased visibility through B2B2C partnerships.

The company recently received B Corp certification from NGO B Lab for its social and environmental commitments, and has formed partnerships with Air France-KLM, Vietnam Airlines, Corendon Airlines and Singapore Airlines, giving it access to millions of passengers.
