Find out the opening dates for your nearest Six Flags park as Six Flags prepares for the 2026 season.
Many, but not all, Six Flags parks, including those formerly part of Cedar Fair before the two companies merge in 2024, operate on a seasonal calendar. They close during the winter and reopen each spring, sometimes with new attractions, and always undergo routine off-season maintenance.
A handful of Six Flags parks will open new roller coasters in 2026, such as Tomonta runs wild Six Flags Over Texas amusement park dive roller coaster and track stunt roller coaster The family Boomerang roller coaster at Six Flags Mexico. Some parks are even looking ahead to 2027, such as Carowinds, which recently teased a mysterious announcement.

Below you can find a list of the 2026 season opening times for each Six Flags park. (This list does not include water parks, most of which open closer to summer. Also, please note that many Six Flags parks do not operate every day, so they may be closed every day even after their 2026 opening dates. Please see each park's calendar for park opening times and their complete schedule.
