Royal Caribbean is one step closer to welcoming guests at its first-ever private beach club.
On Friday, December 12, the cruise line paradise island royal beach club.
It is one of, if not the largest, physical crown and anchor symbols in existence.
“To put it in perspective, the crown and anchor on one side of Star of the Seas are about 37-38 feet,” Jay Schneider, Royal Caribbean Group's chief product innovation officer, said during the 2025 Presidential Cruises.
This makes the structure in Nassau approximately 5-6 feet larger than the logo of one of the largest cruise ships in the world.

These huge blocks are lifted by crane and put into place piece by piece, almost like a giant Lego set.
Based on webcam footage, it appears the sign will be located on the inward side of Paradise Island, and all cruise guests, Royal Caribbean or not, will have a clear view of the massive sign as their ship pulls into Nassau.
The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will officially open on December 23, 2025, and guests on Utopia and Splendor of the Seas will be the first to experience the cruise line’s first beach club destination.

The strong core structure allowed the team to build surrounding elements to give the logo a recognizable shape, with the crown’s middle prong being the final piece added.
The final seconds of the clip show off the sheer scale of the Crown and Anchor installation at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.
The sign dwarfs everything from the two-story party bay to the restaurant shed and construction equipment below, and the team is working to put the finishing touches on it ahead of the club's grand opening.
Other construction updates
Just ten days remain before Royal Beach Club Paradise Island welcomes its first paying guests.
There is little room for delay, as everything must be fully operational by December 23.
While recent photos show beach clubs being consolidated, there's still a lot of work to be done to ensure the destination is ready for guests.
From a distance, the colorful beach club is really starting to take shape. However, construction debris must be cleared, furniture arranged and landscaping completed within two weeks.
