Sour Cherry and Rose Ice Cream Recipe

Sour Cherry and Rose Ice Cream Recipe

Sour Cherry and Rose Ice Cream RecipeSour cherry trees are not as common as sweet cherries, but there is one in my garden. Like in previous years, I got a decent crop for the first time and wasn't completely ridiculed by birds (network help!). You can buy frozen sour cherries at the Middle East corner store – look at the freezer.

I did this last weekend for my perfume themed supper club floral course. So add rose water and pair it with lavender shortbread cookies (my recipe supper club book) and orange blossom water pastry.

It's easier if you have an ice cream maker, but if you don't, freeze in a shallow plastic container and remove 3 or 4 times at an hour interval, then stir vigorously to prevent any hard crystals from forming.

There are two main ways to make ice cream: as cold egg custard with eggs, or in this case thicken with corn flour.

Sour Cherry and Rose Water Ice Cream Recipe

Keywords Ice cream, rose water, sour cherries

Serve 10

raw material

  • 150 g Butter Cake Candy
  • 10 g Corn flour
  • pinch sea salt
  • 200 ML Whole milk
  • 400 ML Sour cream or cream cream
  • 2 Spoon Rose Water

For sour cherry cake:

  • 200 g Sour cherries, spots
  • 100 g Butter Cake Candy
  • squeeze Lemon juice
  • Paste or TSP vanilla

instruct

  • Start by making the ice cream base, and you can make sour cherry preserves when it stirs in the ice cream maker.

  • Put sugar, corn flour, salt and a small amount of milk into the pot and put it in the pot over low heat. Stir while stirring, then add the rest of the milk.

  • Cook until thick. Cooking cornmeal is important: When it becomes transparent, it usually means it is cooked. Remove from the fire.

  • Add sour cream/cream to the hot mixture and stir casually. Then add rose water. Then pour it all into the ice cream maker. My machine tends to work in a 60 minute course. I found it takes at least 2 60 minutes, maybe 3 sessions to stir properly.

Sour Cherry Cake:

  • I like it's pretty chunky, so when I poured the cherries in, I left them all together. Use sugar, lemon juice and vanilla to place the cherries in the pan. Cook until slightly thickened and looks a little burped, 15 to 20 minutes.

  • Remove from the heat and let it cool. It is then added to the mixture in the ice cream maker and continue to stir.
