Guests of Kings Island can look forward to the comedy and adventure of this new ride
On dark and stormy nights, the new Phantom Theater ride will laugh quickly. Inside, guests can enjoy musical performances by theater organist Maestro until lightning strikes cause ghost notes to erupt. These ghost notes tend to create chaos throughout the theater.
To help stop the mess of ghost notes, guests need to get together without legs. He is the welcome master, and he will provide guests with the tools they need to capture these ghosts and send them back to the master's organ. Then he may continue to perform. A cycling vehicle or charming opera box will take guests through 26 different scenes including backstage, haunted house, dressing room, weird boiler room and more.

Made by Sally Dark Rides, the leader of the Indoor Home Dark Journey, Phantom Theatre: The opening nightmare is an immersive experience. Guests can expect many sensory effects such as wind and sound. Additionally, they can expect many different performers to appear, including Houdelini's animation format and Great Garbanzo to Hilda Bovine and Lionel Burymore. It is a new surprise in every corner.
Guests will also meet with Maestro's furry feline friend Arpeggio. With the return of many beloved characters, and some Easter eggs, this new adventure is truly a tribute to the original journey.
