Franck Garanger's culinary director Franck Garanger was appointed Chevalier (Knight) of Ordre du Mérite Agricole by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.
This honor recognizes Garland's contribution to agriculture and French culinary excellence. He is a chef with decades of experience and is known for fostering craftsmanship, sustainability and the highest quality ingredients.

This distinction reflects not only his personal dedication to the culinary arts, but also the commitment of Explora Journeys to the highest standards of excellence, authenticity and food,” said Alban Gjoka, vice president of Explora Journeys for Food and Beverage.

The award was presented by entrepreneur Michel Galloyer and Deputy Mayor Haligon on June 5, 2025 in Avrillé, France. Attendees included Chefs Jean-François Piers and Jacques Thorel.
