Littleton, Colorado – May 4, 2021 – Next year, the Netherlands will bloom for six months, thanks to a year of experience, and will restore the faith of the Bavarian village: the passionate game of Floriade and Oberampergau. And, although these special events only happen every 10 years, they will be broadcast throughout Europe for the first time in 2022. Avalon Waterways offers travelers the opportunity to special events with special navigation, as well as its most powerful “Special Interest 2022” cruise lineup, making it a milestone year for river cruises.

- Passionate about playing: Oberammergau Tour The opportunity that appears every 10 years is an opportunity that cannot be missed. Since 1634, the world-famous oberampagau Passion (reminiscent of the Last Supper to the Crucifixion) has performed in the quaint Bavarian village of Oberampagau. This experience was the first time in 400 years due to the global pandemic in 2020. This makes its 2022 revival even more magical. - Bloom & Grow: Floriade Cruises Avalon also invites travelers to be their guests 2022 International Horticulture Exhibition Florida Expo. To join this typical flora celebration and fill the senses with colors, perfumes and wonderful food. Now, this amazing event in the Dutch town of Almere is now available as a three (3) tour of the Dutch River and the Avalon Waterways. It is also available as an optional tour for 12 itineraries.
