Noodles, Boba and desserts. Now it's a balanced meal.
Starting with what I think is the highlight of the menu, Yaki Udon and Karaage-inspired crispy chicken. First of all, the Karaji Chicken is great. If you've ever visited Japan, I'm sure you know that there are plenty of convenience stores (aka Konbini) on almost every street in the country. They are filled with wonderful and affordable snacks and drinks. When you visit Japan, you can almost choose your favorite Konbini through the ceremony. Every different brand of Konbini has hundreds of foods, but the most famous shops are the Karaage chicken in the store. Karachi chicken is lightweight, crispy and flaky. The chicken is deep fried, but the chicken is not covered in the batter like a typical fried chicken, so the chicken itself remains moist and tender. It was delicious and while the Disney version wasn't as good as the authentic Japanese convenience store Karachi Chicken, it brought me some flavor and it brought me back to my favorite destination in the world. It's the “if you know, you know” thing, but trust me, if you're a Japanese fan, you won't want to miss this dish.
What's the disadvantages of this dish? It's an eye-catching $18.99. There are a lot of quick service meals, but on the plus side, it's of good quality and the filling is very full. Udon noodles cook perfectly and provide the generous help of fresh vegetables. Other ingredients in this dish are mushrooms, sugar peas, roasted red peppers, bean fruit, black soybeans and hoisin sauce. You can get this dish without chicken “only” $13.99.
Another main course of udon is this Karachi-style crispy chicken sandwich ($14.99). It is served with salad, togarashi mayonnaise on potato bread and served with sliced garlic. The highlight of this main course is the togarashi mayonnaise, which is delicious. If you don't know, Togarashi is a Japanese blend of chili condiment that you can find on the tables in many Japanese restaurants. If it sounds too exotic to you, I suggest you give it a try! Nothing different from many of the spices we use in the United States, you may find something you like. This Karachi Chicken Sandwich is better than any other chicken sandwich you find at Disneyland Resort.
This is Beef Birria Ramen $15.99. I know this dish has its fans, but there are a lot of good ramen in Los Angeles and Orange County and it's hard to recommend it. I'm not a snob for ramen anyway, but I found the noodles very rubbery. Birria is good, but its portion is too small for the price.
The other two items that are not displayed on the menu are Honey walnut shrimp wrap Throw in sweet honey sauce, white rice, candied walnuts, salad, shallots and sesame seeds for $13.99, then Teriyaki Chicken Use stir-fried vegetables and steamed rice for $12.99. Both projects are good, but on the boring side. We'll skip these items and get a piece of Karachi chicken, or something from the Casca from the sidewalk.

For desserts, there is this cute Baymax Macaron $7.29. It's full of marshmallows and chocolate-meat sauce, and it's nice in size. I recommend that there are more exciting desserts via DCA, such as Clarabelle's ice cream creation or Aunt Cass Casfa's seasonal bread pudding.

I'm happy to report that Disneyland resorts have finally found a way to make a great Boba drink. In the past, Disney’s Boba drinks were either too sweet and inadequate or included the worst Boba balls on the planet. No more, Boba is here Thai tea with sea salt cream and brown sugar boba Soft, perfectly chewy. I'm kind of like a Boba fanatic and indulged in cups at least once a week, so it's good news to finally have a delicious Boba drink in the park. The price is a bit high, at $7.49.
Seating is available in front of and around the outdoor area of the restaurant. San Fransokyo Square is a popular dining area in the park, so seats can be snapped up quickly during main dining hours.
Overall, we liked some of the items on the Lucky Fortune Cookery menu. If you want to eat Asian-inspired dishes, you can't go wrong here.
