South American discount operator Jetsmart now sells tickets through Amadeus. The move marks Jetsmart's first GDS integration for American travel agencies.
The Chile-based budget airline is owned by Indigo Partners, which is also a majority owner of Frontier Airlines, and it flies over 80 domestic and international routes in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Ecuador.
American Airlines is a minority owner of Jetsmart, and has one Code Sharing Partnership with airline loyalty program.
